The Biograd Boat Show celebrates its 25th anniversary with an expanded show sold out more than a month in advance! With a month to go, the expanded exhibition area has sold out, leading to another record show: more than 50 new vessels have been added in the water and more than 30 on land, bringing the total to about 400 vessels up to 24 metres.
A fifth exhibition hall, E, has been added in the north marina, as well as floating exhibition stands on the pontoon bridge linking Marina Kornati North with Marina Kornati West.
From its humble beginnings as a springtime open house, the show has built a loyal following to become Central Europe’s leading boat show and one of the most important in Europe, serving the many nations that gravitate to the Croatian Adriatic. Uniquely, each of the past 25 years has produced a record show except 2020, when a near-record show was one of only three held in Europe at the start of the pandemic.
The Biograd Boat Show experience
The show’s success is the unique formula created by the organiser Ilirija d.d., combining its impressive Marina Kornati, hotels, restaurants and entertainment into an attractive “Boat Show Experience” package. When the sun sets, exhibiting stops and the party begins, with a legendary entertainment programme that spills into the town centre. Combined with Biograd’s spectacular setting, the show is truly unique.

Alongside the show, the Biograd B2B platform lets business visitors register in the business directory, pre-schedule meetings with companies of interest and attend networking events. It includes an extensive congress programme with the 7th Croatian Nautical Days, sponsored by the Croatian Chamber of Economy, from 25 to 27 October 2023, featuring industry association meetings, business presentations and networking events.
Croatia Charter Expo
Croatia has by far the largest charter yacht fleet in the world, with more than 4,500 yachts, and the industry’s central meeting point is the Croatia Charter Expo B2B event, held on 25 and 26 October during the show. Sailors interested in well-maintained pre-owned sailboats will find information on hundreds of late-model yachts leaving their charter contracts — the best time for a good deal.
