The route

Your first week on the Kvarner.

Seven days, seven harbours, one sea. This is the classic route from ACI Marina Opatija — and we adapt it to you, your boat and the wind.

Day 1 / 7
Opatija → Cres
We leave ACI Marina Opatija and cross the Kvarner to the little town of Cres: a Venetian harbour, stone houses and the first dinner on the waterfront.
Day 2 / 7
Cres → Osor
Along the west coast of Cres to Osor, a museum town on the channel between Cres and Lošinj. Its swing bridge opens for boats at set times of day.
Day 3 / 7
Osor → Mali Lošinj
Through the channel and down the coast to Mali Lošinj. Ashore, the Museum of Apoxyomenos; at sea around Lošinj, bottlenose dolphins are often spotted.
Day 4 / 7
Susak & Ilovik
Susak, the sand island with its own dialect, then an anchorage off Ilovik, the island of flowers, in one of the calmest bays of the Kvarner.
Day 5 / 7
Ilovik → Rab
East to the town of Rab and its four bell towers, visible from far out at sea. An evening walk through the stone streets of the old town.
Day 6 / 7
Rab → Baška
To Baška on the island of Krk: a long pebble beach, swimming until sunset, and the area where the Baška tablet was found.
Day 7 / 7
Krk → Opatija
Past Vrbnik and its Žlahtina vineyards, under the Krk bridge and back to Opatija. To finish, a walk along the Lungomare as the riviera lights come on.
