After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, “Boot Düsseldorf”, the world’s largest boating and water-sports fair, returns to the big stage, opening its doors at its famous Messe Düsseldorf location from 21 to 29 January 2023, with premieres from the world’s leading manufacturers of yachts, sailboats, marine engines and water-sports equipment.
During the fair, participants can connect through the exchange of experience, lectures and exhibitions in the vast halls. Almost 1,500 exhibitors will be spread across 16 pavilions on 220,000 square metres — the size of 31 football pitches. Listening to the market and the trend for dinghies, the organisers have reserved the whole of hall 9 for that part of the nautical offer.
Besides bringing together all the giants of the nautical industry, Boot is open to amateur sailors, sea lovers and anyone interested, who can get relevant information first-hand. For example, working away from the office has increased boat sales, as people started working online from their vessels and making better use of their time. The result of this digitalisation can also be seen in boat design: boats have become larger, with more comfortable interiors adapted to the new age.
The Croatian nautical industry will also take part in Düsseldorf, offering information about berths and the other services our nautical tourism offers all year round. ACI, the largest chain of marinas in Croatia, will present the project of the future ACI Marina Rijeka in Porto Baroš, as well as the most luxurious and modern marina in Croatia — ACI Marina Rovinj.
